How was Paint Pittston Pink™ created?
Paint Pittston Pink™ is the collaborative effort of 9-year cancer survivor, Barb Sciandra, along with Qiana Lehman and a committed group of selfless individuals who believe in this cause with all of their heart and soul.
The driving force behind Paint Pittston Pink™ is to bring awareness to cancer research and clinical trials and to fund a revolutionary immunotherapy vaccine and other trials – all causes that are near and dear to Sciandra’s heart.
Since our organization began in 2014, we have raised and donated nearly half a million dollars to specific cancer research.
Why donate to Paint Pittston Pink™?
Paint Pittston Pink™ is a registered 501c3 organization so your donation is tax deductible!
PPP is not run by a high-salaried CEO.
Paint Pittston Pink™ is comprised solely of volunteers, namely a twenty-two member committee consisting of the following devoted individuals: Erin Berlew, Meredith Cosgrove, Jay Duffy, Ann Fisher, Mary Kroptavich, Melissa Latona, Joleen Lazecki, Qiana Lehman, Lisa Licari, Eileen Lyons, Kara Martin, Kristina McHale, Julie Murphy, Joe Nealon, Angel Noone, Cindy Pietrowski, Bob Price, Lindo Sabatini, Barb Sciandra, Sal Sciandra, Chris Skibitsky, and Sue Smith.
100% of Paint Pittston Pink™’s profits are donated directly to The Paint Pittston Pink™ Fund at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and to Dr. Brian Czerniecki’s immunotherapy cancer research at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
PPP believes that it is through research that we continuously inch our way towards a cure for this terrible disease.
Lastly, participating in any of Paint Pittston Pink™’s events is so much fun!
